Safe Food Transportation Rules

Do you know that carrying perishable food must comply with specific temperatures?

For example, milk and butter must be shipped at +6°C, meats, cheeses and fish products at +4°C, offal, poultry, game and shellfish at +3°C, while all frozen and deep-frozen foods, such as ice cream, at -20°C.

All these information appears in the international Safe Food Transportation Rules, that regulate the food transport terms, in compliance with the cold chain management standard: the ATP (Accord Transport Perissable).

GourmEat strictly follows the ATP standard, whose new version, effective from 6 July 2020, allows even more careful control of transport conditions, thanks to systems, sensors and digital devices.
