Cantina Negro Giuseppe Typical wines from Alba The Negro Giuseppe winery is located in the Municipality of Neive, one of the most renowned areas for the production of typical wines from Alba. Amongst the green hills and vineyards that offer unique views, stands out the little town of Neive, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. This is here that the Negro Giuseppe winery was founded, one of the most renowned in the Barbaresco circuit, an area also called "Land of the four wines", namely Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, Dolcetto d'Alba DOC and Moscato d'Asti DOCG. The owner, the oenologist Giorgio Negro, deals directly with the company by focusing the production on the quality of its wines for Italian and foreign high quality catering companies. In fact, it is a tradition handed down since the 50s, when Giuseppe Negro, who personally took care of his vineyards and winery, vinified only small high-quality quantities of wine, meant to very demanding customers. In order to learn more about the winemaking methods, the wine refinement in wooden barrels and the aging in bottles, you can book guided company tours, at the end of which you can join a guided wine tasting in an old cellar. On the most beautiful days, and to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Langhe, the tasting can be served on the terrace of Monsú overlooking the vineyards of the Cantina Negro.
