Caseificio Matteassi

A historic company in the whole Valdichiana.

In 1965, Onelio Matteassi and his wife Annetta, founded a small family-run dairy: the Caseificio Matteassi Oneglio. They put commitment, passion and time into it and passed these values over the years to their daughters and grandchildren, who still carry on with enthusiasm their company today. The main objective of this dairy farm is to make a range of cheese able to maintain a strong link with the Valdichiana area and its traditions, becoming a leading company on the territory.

The company establishment, certified IFS Food, covers about 4000 square meters and for our production, we use exclusively Italian milk from Crete Senesi, Valdichiana Aretina, Senese territory and areas surrounding the Trasimeno Lake. The company is scrupulous and selective in the choice of farms that must ensure precise quality standards imposed by the dairy. We guarantee quality, thanks to a harmonious development between tradition and modernity and with the use of the latest generation of machinery that does not twist the craftsmanship of manual processing.
