The Taste Evolution

A Sicilian realty founded in 1968 by Grandfather Lino, who decided to move from Lampedusa to Palermo, opening an oven in the village of Tommaso Natale. From that time and in the following years, started a new production of bread and biscuits, using Sicilian flours and, in 1985, Giuseppe D'Angelo, created his particular dough for the daily bread production. In 2008 they launched the "panettone", branded Pastificio d'Angelo and, later, the anniversary cakes. All with a special characteristic: the use of only natural yeast and farm-to-table Sicilian products.

Master Mario Arculeo makes special leavened cakes among which stands out the classic "Colomba" made with flour, dairy butter, egg yolks from hens raised on the ground, sugar, honey, fresh cream, Tahiti vanilla and, above all, orange paste from Ribera and handmade candied fruit with lemons from Syracuse, late mandarins from Ciaculli and cubes of Ribera oranges. A delicacy that carries with itself all the scent of the Sicilian sun and sea.
