Monferrato Bianco DOC 2019 DOC Herbae

A clear wine with a straw yellow color. Ample and elegant aromas; notes of white flowers and chamomile, intense fruity golden apple, apricot and pear. Fresh, savory, excellent acid-alcohol balance, pleasant almond aftertaste.

Erbaluce is the only grape variety possible to obtain a white DOC wine in Alto Piemonte, however, the Erbaluce denomination has been entrusted in an exclusive way to the area of Caluso, like the term Greco which is used to define some white wines in Southern Italy.

This fine white wine is called Erbavoglio since it is not possible to mention the name of Erbaluce in the label despite being the only grape variety that can be used to have the D.O.C. 

Erbaluce is known as "the reddest of white wines", thanks to its intensity on the palate.

The color is straw yellow, on the nose is very fruity, with notes of lemon grass. On the palate it is fresh and slightly sapid, acidulous with a slightly bitter bottom.

White wine. It has a nice straw yellow color. Its bouquet has floral and fruity flavors, that remind of white flowers and yellow plum, to which are added subtle mineral hints. The mouthfeel continues along the same lines as the nose, being fresh and fruity, with a good sapidity. The length is good.

A straw-yellow wine with an elegant bouquet of banana, butter, honey and yellow flowers well bound by non-invasive oak. On the palate soft, it is savory and with a nice freshness.
