Acetaia Marchi was founded in the early nineteenth century, when the Marchi family started producing Modena balsamic vinegar with great passion. Their tradition has been passed down from generation to generation up to today, using high quality raw materials, experience and dedication to work, that now give rise to two excellent products that can seduce all the most refined palates. Today, their production is not limited to Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP, but they offer to customers a broad range of products from the Modena tradition.
Jams, compotes, sauces and other selected and certified products made with balsamic vinegar, which find in the most gourmet connoisseurs their right market, turning the simplest dishes into real works of art. A special mention should be made for the three types of Modena balsamic vinegar: IGP, organic IGP and DOP. They are all free of sulphates, food colouring, thickeners, preservatives and anti-oxidants. Their refinement is the result of an exclusive use of cooked grape must and wine vinegar, treated with various refining and aging procedures to obtain flavour and bouquet.
