Barbera d'Asti Superiore is produced with the best Barbera Della Cascina Valeggia grapes. The strains of Barbera, cultivated in vineyard with an exceptional exposure and in a very poor white soil, produce very few bunches of grapes. The resulting product is a wine of an intense ruby color and purple reflections, with the scent of ripe cherry followed by spicy notes and berries. The taste is ample and it has a good body and persistence.
