Lambrusco

A garnet red wine in the glass, elegant and noble. Sweet floral notes open the olfactory, that continues on flavors of ripe red pulp fruits, to allow the perception of precious tertiary nuances of tobacco, mint and pepper. On the palate, it is balanced and silky, characterized by a tannic texture that support the wine for many more years. The finish is long and tasty. A wine suitable for a formal dinner.

The Ghemme Riserva Pelizzane is a fantastic CRU, grown on a hectare of excellence! This portion of the vineyard has the best exposure of the entire vineyard but, in addition, the grapes are thinned, harvested, vinified and aged separately.

Exposure to the west and the clay soil give the Ghemme a unique complexity and elegance,  characteristics that reflect the level of experience in winemaking of Torraccia del Piantavigna.

The color is a ruby with orange reflections, the nose stands out the violet with hints of licorice and the palate is full-bodied with soft tannins.

A beautiful ruby red wine with violet reflections and a vinous, intense and fruity aroma with hints of cherry, dry and medium-bodied. It is a wine suitable for moderate aging.

The hills of Gattinara cover very few hectares and are among the most evocative in Italy with small historic vineyards set on steep hills.

The vineyards are difficult to work and the almost entirely manual cultivation give an additional value to this fantastic wine. In addition to this, however, the main feature that makes Gattinara unique is the composition of volcanic soil.

Nebbiolo is a grape that particularly loves these characteristics, this gives the wine a certain austerity, vigorous tannins, but at the same time a great character and complexity.

Describing a multi awarded winning wine might seem simple, but, in fact, we are definitely talking about a very complex wine. The Gattinara 2006 won for three consecutive times the 3 Gambero Rosso Glasses, in addition to the title of Grande Vino for the Slow Food guide.

A garnet red color wine characterized by an intense and complex aroma, that reminds of blackberries, licorice and spices. A full and rich flavor in the mouth, with fine and aromatic tannins. 

A medium intense ruby red wine with a good transparency that tends very quickly towards a garnet red; persistent and captivating scent with notes of dog rose and peach kernel. On the palate, it has a good roundness, balanced by tannins and a typical structure, perfectly equilibrated.

An important wine, full-bodied, of a beautiful intense ruby red color, with a broad aroma, hints of violet and a dry full and enveloping taste. It is a wine suitable for long aging.

A intense garnet red wine with a spicy bouquet of cloves and nutmeg, ripe fruit and rose hips. On the palate, it is imposing, robust and important, velvety and soft.

The Ghemme DOCG is grown in an area with just over 60 hectares of vineyards of great value. The position of the vineyards, the great temperature variations due to the influence of Monte Rosa give this grape an elegant and complex aromatic variability.

Ghemme is a ruby red wine with hints of orange. On the nose is intense and fine with hints of violet and licorice. On the palate has a full taste, rich, unique also thanks to the clay soil and the exposure to the West of the hills.

Its character remains very fascinating even after many years.

A dark garnet red wine, full-bodied. On the olfactory analysis this wine is very elegant and pleasing, has a warm nose with toasted hints dominated by aromas of leather, barley, coffee and strawberry jam. In the mouth it is soft and warm, thanks to sweet tannins.

Ghemme 2005 is a vintage wine that follows and highlights what was announced in 2004: important structure and aromas that evolve and grow continuously. 

On the nose, it has spicy hints supported by a slight vanilla that does not dominate the aromas of Nebbiolo.

In the mouth pervades a sense of balance as only a Nebbiolo of Alto Piemonte can express.

The year 2005 won several awards: 2 Gambero Rosso glasses, l'Espresso - Vini d'Italia 3 Bottiglie, Guida Oro - Veronelli 2 stelle rosse, Touring Club 3 stelle rosse

An elegant and complex wine whose grapes, for Vigna Pelizzane, derive from the most prestigious hectare of the estate.

Treated separately from the beginning of the season: with particular attention, very few bunches per plant, a strictly manual harvest and exclusive vinification and aging allow to create a cru of excellence.

The vintage wine 2011 has in fact obtained the highest prizes from all the guides, you could not present better.
