A dark garnet red wine, full-bodied. On the olfactory analysis this wine is very elegant and pleasing, has a warm nose with toasted hints dominated by aromas of leather, barley, coffee and strawberry jam. In the mouth it is soft and warm, thanks to sweet tannins.

A garnet red color wine with an intense and complex aromas that remind of riped blackberries, licorice and spices. In the mounth it has a full and rich flavor with fine and aromatic tannins.

Made from strictly thinned grapes, this wine is the noblest expression of the Barbera vines. It has a ruby red color, with an intense aroma of red fruits in syrup and a round flavor, harmoniously refined.

Barbera d'Asti Superiore is produced with the best Barbera Della Cascina Valeggia grapes. The strains of Barbera, cultivated in vineyard with an exceptional exposure and in a very poor white soil, produce very few bunches of grapes. The resulting product is a wine of an intense ruby color and purple reflections, with the scent of ripe cherry followed by spicy notes and berries. The taste is ample and it has a good body and persistence.

Ghemme 2005 is a vintage wine that follows and highlights what was announced in 2004: important structure and aromas that evolve and grow continuously. 

On the nose, it has spicy hints supported by a slight vanilla that does not dominate the aromas of Nebbiolo.

In the mouth pervades a sense of balance as only a Nebbiolo of Alto Piemonte can express.

The Grignolino d'Asti grapes ripe for a long time on the plant and its wine is produced in purity. A medium intense ruby red wine, with a good transparency that tends very quickly towards a garnet red; persistent and captivating scent with notes of dog rose and peach kernel. On the palate, it has a good roundness balanced by tannins and structure typical and perfectly equilibrated.

Describing a multi awarded winning wine might seem simple, but, in fact, we are definitely talking about a very complex wine. The Gattinara 2006 won for three consecutive times the 3 Gambero Rosso Glasses, in addition to the title of Grande Vino for the Slow Food guide.

Ghemme 2001 is an important example of an unusual vintage that however retains all the character of a great wine. On the nose has persistent notes of leather and tobacco while on the palate is soft and enveloping with a certain dose of flavor and a nice note of acidity.
