The Ghemme Riserva Pelizzane is a fantastic CRU, grown on a hectare of excellence! This portion of the vineyard has the best exposure of the entire vineyard but, in addition, the grapes are thinned, harvested, vinified and aged separately.
Exposure to the west and the clay soil give the Ghemme a unique complexity and elegance, characteristics that reflect the level of experience in winemaking of Torraccia del Piantavigna.
The color is a ruby with orange reflections, the nose stands out the violet with hints of licorice and the palate is full-bodied with soft tannins.
